Window 220 – Acts of kindness, create peace within the giver

” The best way to step out of our own mental pain, is to help another person who is suffering.”

Sitting in our painful thoughts will only create more pain.

So in order to turn our toxic thinking into stillness, we must purposely seek to become a blessing for someone else in need of an act of kindness.

To which our kindness, silently becomes our own blessing of peace within.

  1. This is a beautiful truth as long as we aren’t using someone else’s pain as a distraction from dealing with our own, too. I guess, like so many other things, it’s about balance.
