When we boast about what we give, we are only giving to feed our ego and receive accolades, instead of giving to truly give.

  1. yes, or give to ease our consciousness. That becomes charity. And even though charity does a lot of good in the world, I have seen that it many times does not create beautiful human beings on either side of the end.
