In our moments of wanting and longing for more, we must quickly shift our thoughts to gratitude…for even in our smallest of blessings, we can see Gods hand in our life. But in our longing, we can only see the distraction, without seeing the evil, that is trying to pull us away from his hand.

If Satan can distract us from communicating With God, he gets our soul… so we must keep our focus on Gods whispers of instruction, instead of all earthly desires and problems…for our eternal life is more important than this temporary walk on earth.

We become consumed with other peoples lives as a form of distraction, when we do not want to face our own circumstances.
