Window 1875 – Are you living by your flesh or your spirit

Romans 8;12-13– So then brothers, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live according to the flesh. For if you live according to the flesh you will die, but if by the spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live.

The fruits of the spirit are; love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. When we align with God and live our life with the mind of our spirit, we have inner peace. But when we live in the mind of our flesh… we will never be content, and will always be seeking a temporary high to fulfill the dark yearnings, that are not aligned with God.

We can claim to be Christian and go to church, go to confession, and mention Gods name…but If our thoughts and actions are self-absorbed and focused on riches, sexual pleasures, wicked schemes, negativity, and foul language… we are not Christ-like at all, we are just more Satan like… And we must never forget, that Satan’s only goal is for us to spend eternity with him.

God wants us to a have a fruitful life and spend it in eternity with him…but in order for that to be, we must first be a good fruit.

Window 1874 – Let God take the wheel of your life.

Matthew 6:19
Do not lay up yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal.

When we live our life thinking we are in control, we will be controlled by every earthly desire and live a life out of control.

To walk with God, is knowing that the whispers of needing more, more and more, and the chaos within our spirit… are coming from Satan… who will use all earthly desires, to keep us on the hamster wheel of internal chaos to distract us from God.

Satan knows our weaknesses and insecurities and he uses them to pull us away from God. Because he wants our soul… So we must be vigilant and pay attention to God’s whispers and signs, to remain on the right path.

God knows our earthly needs and He can exceed our wishes in life, without our help…as long as we give Him full control and strive to live a Godly life.

Window 1872 – Get in the word daily

Hebrews 4:12 “ for the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and and joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intention of the heart.”

The Bible is God’s written voice and we must fuel our spirit daily with his word, in order to be able to follow his word, in this evil world.

If we do not fuel our spirit, we will be empty and unable to battle the enemy, therefore leaving us vulnerable to be filled up with the negativity around us.

Start your day by putting on the armor of God, by reading his word, or by watching a short message. The word of God daily, is more important than the caffeine we wait in long lines for.

Window 1867- focus on the true meaning of Christmas

Colossians 1: 16-20 For by him all things were created, in heaven and on earth…

Through Jesus everything was created… he left heaven, to come live on satans playground to save us. The depth of his love cannot be described… for all of our sins, are the very nails that hung him on the cross.

We do not deserve his love and forgiveness … but he knows how hard it is to live in a fallen world; that is why he came in earthly form to save us… for if he would not have, all of us would be spending our eternity in hell.

So as the season of Christmas begins, we must not allow satans playground to distract us with the need for presents and grand self absorbed gestures. But celebrate what Jesus did for us, by accepting his gift…eternal life, living in peace and love with him.

Window 1866- miracles

Daniel 3:24-25 – “Did we not cast three men bound into the fire?“

God never runs out of miracles… we must not put our faith or hope in anyone but him. No matter what the outcome is for our wishes… he knows the best route for our personal journey.

Sometimes the miracle is hidden from the perception of what we long for, but is revealed to us later in our spirit.

Window 1863- Gods plan will always come to fruition

Jeremiah 29:11- for I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord…

God does not laugh at our plans, he just has something better planned for us… and most of the time we will kick and scream our way through the steps of his plan

Better to trust his plan when things don’t go our way than to kick and scream… because his plan will always come to fruition, no matter how long we fight it.

Window 1861- Staying alert

If we are not anchored to Jesus, we are at risk of being lassoed by darkness.

Window 1860- deciphering the voices

The loudest voice in our mind screaming, and justifying us to make chaotic choices is DARKNESS… for Jesus only speaks to us in a peaceful whisper.

Window 1855- The truth will always emerge

We cannot control the lies that people say and believe about us, but we can control our hatred and anger, toward those spewing and believing the lies.

The root of our anger, is the pathway to inner peace.
